Who we are

Athena is provided by Athena Gold Quantitative Intelligence Libraries Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17406306) ("Athena", "we", "us"). These terms apply whenever you use Athena - at athenagold.ai, in the desktop app, or in the iOS and Android apps. By creating an account or using Athena you agree to them.

Who can use Athena

You must be 18 or over. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away at hello@athenagold.ai if you think someone else has used it.

Information only - not financial advice

Athena provides market data, analysis, trend signals, research tools and an AI assistant for information and education only. Nothing in Athena is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Trend signals and statistics describe past prices and are not forecasts. Prices can be delayed or wrong, and past performance is not a guide to future returns. You make your own decisions and are responsible for them - consider independent advice before investing. Athena does not hold your money or assets and never places trades for you.

Subscriptions and payment

Some features need a paid plan. Plans bought on the web are billed by Stripe; plans bought in the iOS or Android app are billed by Apple or Google under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time - on the web from Billing, or in your App Store or Google Play account settings - and your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We'll tell you in advance about any price change, and it applies from your next renewal.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable, including for partly used periods, except where the law requires otherwise. When you subscribe you ask us to give you access straight away and acknowledge that you therefore lose the 14-day right to cancel that UK consumer law otherwise gives for digital content. This doesn't affect your other statutory rights, for example if the service is faulty. Purchases made through Apple or Google are refunded only under their own refund policies.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Athena: no attempting to break into or disrupt the service, scraping or reselling its data, sharing your account, reverse engineering the apps, or using Athena for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do, and you can close yours at any time - see Delete your account.

Your content and data

The holdings, watchlists, alerts and conversations you add stay yours. You let us store and process them only to run Athena for you, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Our content

Athena's software, design, analysis and brand belong to us or our licensors. Market data and news come from third-party providers and may carry their own terms. You may use Athena for your own personal or internal business use only.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Athena running and accurate but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Features marked beta may change or be withdrawn. We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect, and continuing to use Athena afterwards means you accept it.

Our liability

We're not liable for investment or trading losses, lost profits, or decisions you make using information from Athena, or for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited under the law of England and Wales.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
